Maia qualified as an ATT (Approved Tuberculin Tester) with Cheshire Farm Vets shortly after joining the team at the start of 2024 and is now due to qualify as a Registered Animal Medicines Advisor. This will allow her to prescribe and supply POM-VPS products from our in-house pharmacy. Maia is ROMS accredited and provides a mobility scoring service for dairy farmers to help them meet their ever increasing contractual requirements. Maia also offers several other Vet Tech services including; disbudding, vaccinating and blood sampling to name a few. 

Having grown up with horses and sheep Maia is very grateful to have found a career she’s passionate about after spending her twenties feeling like a fish out of water in towns and cities. Maia has loved getting stuck back into the country life and is happiest when she’s out in the elements, milking cows or lambing sheep. You might spot Maia delivering meds around Cheshire and the Peaks with her dog Cora – they’re hard to miss in that cow print car!
