Lizzie qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 2020 and after a few years working as a mixed practice vet in Yorkshire, moved to Cheshire in search of a more farm based caseload.

She worked as a research scientist (specialising in bluetongue virus) before becoming a vet, and from this has a particular interest in infectious disease, herd health and biosecurity. She also runs the Smallholders Club at CFV and is keen to promote preventative health for all clients whether they have one goat or three hundred cows.

Outside of work she can be found at the coast or in the hills, scuba-diving or walking
